Enhanced Sensitivity Sanger Sequencing (ESS)
Traditional Sanger Sequencing is used to confirm a DNA sequence, however it’s ability to confidently identify sequence variants is limited to variants above 20% of the template population.
The ESS service improves upon the variant detection sensitivity of Sanger Sequencing from approximately 20% to 5%.
CYMD tests are inclusive of many different mutants.
If the mutant you would like to be tested for is not on our list of included mutants, an additional charge will incur.
